Offstage. is a photographic portrait series run by Campbell Jensen, Melbourne, Australia. This page covers projectoffstage.com. It explains what this site collects, what I do with it, and the choices you have.
There are no accounts, no cart and no payments. The information I get is what you choose to send through one of three forms.
The forms are delivered by Netlify, the service that hosts this site, and land in a form inbox that only I can see.
The site shows a cookie notice once. A small note in your browser remembers whether you accepted or declined it. Nothing is sent to me from that and it is not used to track you.
If you accept, Google Analytics cookies are set. They tell me how many people visit, which pages and walls are opened, roughly which country visitors are in, and how they found the site. Google processes that data on my behalf and I have IP anonymisation switched on. I do not use it to build a profile of you and I do not use advertising cookies at all. Decline and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is the only thing kept.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
The mailing list. Signing up on projectoffstage.com adds you to the Offstage. mailing list. I use it to let you know about the project, Vol. 01, and any prints or books released from the work. The list is kept in a mailing system I run myself. Each email tells you how to come off the list, or you can email me and I will remove you.
Applications. I use what you send to consider the artist for this volume or a future one and to reply to you. If it is a referral, I may contact the artist you have put forward and tell them who introduced them. Applications are kept while the project is running so that I can return to them for future volumes. Ask me and I will delete yours sooner.
I do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Nobody else. Cherry Bar supports Vol. 01 but does not receive any of this information.
Like most websites, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested. These keep the site running and secure and are not used to build a profile of you.
Mailing list details stay until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you. Applications stay while the project is running. Correspondence stays for as long as I need it to deal with what you asked, then it is deleted.
You can ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email campbell@authored.com.au and I will reply as soon as I can.
If you are in the UK or the European Union, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR give you the same rights, along with the right to object to marketing and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. My lawful basis for the mailing list is your consent, given when you submit one of the forms above; for applications it is my legitimate interest in running the project and replying to you.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, tell me first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
