These terms cover your use of projectoffstage.com, run by Campbell Jensen, Melbourne, Australia. Using this site means you accept them.
Offstage. is a photographic portrait series of musicians. This site introduces the project, takes applications from artists and the people who refer them, and keeps a mailing list. Nothing on it is an offer to sell anything. If prints or books from the work are released, they will be sold on their own terms, which I will set out at the time.
Applying does not oblige me to photograph anyone, and it does not oblige you to take part if I get in touch. I review every application personally and choose sitters for each volume at my own discretion. I may not be able to reply to every application.
By applying you confirm that what you send is accurate and that you have the right to send it. If you are referring another artist, make sure they are happy to be put forward before you do, because I may contact them and tell them who introduced them.
Taking part in a sitting is a separate arrangement. Each artist who sits for Offstage. signs a release that sets out how the portraits may be used. Those terms, not these, govern the portraits themselves.
Signing up adds you to the Offstage. mailing list. You can come off it at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing me. See Privacy for what I do with your details.
I own the copyright in every photograph on this site. The artists who sit for Offstage. keep their own rights in their name, likeness and work, and have agreed to appear as set out in their release.
You may not copy, download, screenshot for republication, scrape, reproduce or republish any image from this site, including to train machine learning or generative AI systems, without my written permission. The same goes for the text, the design and the code.
Licensing for editorial or commercial use is available on request. Email campbell@authored.com.au.
Every artist in Offstage. took part willingly and has given written permission for their portrait to be shown. Their appearance in the work does not mean they endorse anything sold or said on this site, or anything I or my supporters do beyond the project.
Use it lawfully. Do not interfere with it, do not try to get unauthorised access, and do not use automated tools to harvest what is on it.
Offstage. Vol. 01 is supported by Cherry Bar. Supporters do not control the work or this site. This site links to my other sites and to third parties, and I am not responsible for the content of sites I do not control.
I take care to keep this site accurate and available, but I cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. As far as the law allows, and apart from liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, I am not liable for loss arising from your use of it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
